The Lokha Ubud Resort, Villas & Spa

I liked the location, it's very quiet and peaceful. The staff beautifully decorated our room for our wedding anniversary & flowers were provided which were lovely. I also really liked the spa - it's in a very beautiful location and I left feeling rejuvenated. The main pool is also very lovely with stunning views.

- The shuttle service was disappointing in both frequency and capacity (drop off 10am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm & 9pm with 6 places only & pick up 10:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm, 9:30pm with 6 places only) - even when we tried to book a place 3 hours ahead (what the hotel requests) we were told all the places had been booked and only 1 spot was available (as we were travelling as a couple there was not enough room) - later that night we waited for the suttle anyway and there was in fact room for 2 people (we let another couple take the space as they also had a similar experience to us) - we caught a taxi as the hotel couldn't accommodate. We felt mislead and had pressure to pre-plan our days around the shuttle service. - On checkout, the hotel attempted to charge us for minibar items we didn't use - we had to explain a few times that we didn't use any minibar items before they adjusted the bill. - On checkout, we provided the receipt for our cash deposit, the staff took the receipt however didn't return our cash deposit - when I brought it up we were told our cash deposit ($100AUD) had been refunded already, however, it hadn't and after being told it had a couple of times staff returned our deposit. - Pool villa room was mouldy & shower drainage ran into the bathroom itself instead of down the drain (villa 502). The bathroom floor had a puddle in it for most of our stay. - Room service dropped some of the food I ordered onto the floor when delivering it and didn't offer to replace it but instead asked me to sign for it - the food in the hotel is very overpriced and the quality is not very good compared to the town. - The first hotel we've stayed in Bali where 1 small bottle of water was provided for both washing teeth and drinking per guest per day (we've always been provided with 1 for the bathroom and 1 for drinking)we had to go into town to buy a heap of water to keep us going during our stay.
