We were upgraded two levels free of charge, room was good with superb views from 16th floor. Location was within an easy walk to the starting point of the city bus tours, which for us was good as we had never visited Singapore before. When we asked about a late check out, we were told we could keep our room until 6pm on our departure day, without charge.
Although there was an excellent choice at breakfast to suit all cultures, fried eggs were cold and when done to order, undercooked.

The room was well-lit and very clean. The location of the hotel is good, next to MRT, close proximity to shopping malls such as Suntec City, Millenia Walk, Marina Square, Raffles City etc.
The Nespresso coffee machine in the room was a good addition, however, the water in the container had ants floating in it; wished it was empty. But nonetheless, we washed it and went ahead to use it.

Central location and comfort. They gave us special gifts for the New Year and for change of Hotel Name. New Year decorations were fabulous. Loved the live birds in cages etc. Very Enjoyable. Loved the bar and the vocalists and background music. Great ambience.

Under new (Parkhotel) management, the bathroom was renovated and better (lighting, mirrors) than one year ago (Marina Mandarin). The door controls for Coronavirus guest forehead temperature were good.
The inside bottom of the shower door was not cleaned during my 10 night stay.
