The Nanchang Greenwood Golf Holiday Hotel (Nanchang Cuilin Gaoerfu Dujia Jiudian) is a modern garden-style hotel located on South Yingbin Avenue. The history of the hotel can be traced back to the 1970's when Mao Zedong paid an inspection visit to Jiangxi and stayed at the hotel. The building Mao stayed in has been preserved and has all its original furnishings. It remains a tourist destination today. Chinese and Western restaurants are on hand to serve guests. Business travelers can make use of a dozen meeting rooms of various sizes. Guests benefit from a host of recreational facilities. The hotel is the first in Jiangxi to open a 18-hole golf course equipped with a professional team of coaches and equipment to rent. In addition there is an outdoor swimming pool tennis courts and basketball courts. Those interested in less strenuous recreation can play billiards ping pong or sit down for a game of chess or poker.
