The price listed is for one bedroom plus 15% tax. Includes breakfast for two. Additional persons per room $10.00 each over 8 years old. Our Bed and Breakfast is located directly on the beach in La Ceiba/Dontillo Honduras in a safe, typical Honduran working class neighborhood. We have a large outdoor pool between the house and the beach next to the Champas. Our beach runs over two miles west through a "Gringo" beach development. Inside our compound we have free parking. We have two kayaks, 1 one person and one two person available. Free Wifi is available. We pick up our guests from local transportation at no charge. We have 1 - 2 bedroom suite with large bathroom ($80.00 per night for 4 people) located downstairs off the main patio/bar area with queen sized beds, ceiling fans and new ductless A/C units. Upstairs inside the main house is another 2 bedrooms with shared bath, ($40.00 per night 2 people), also with queen bed, ceiling fan and A/C unit. Daily we serve breakfast from 0700 to 0830 that is included in your rental. Dinner is available on request. Dinners run from $5.50 for a 1/2 pound stuffed hamburger, and fries to $10.00 for shrimp dinners. Our specials include Chicken Marsala, Chicken Alfredo, Lasagna and various types of fish to name a few. The local bus service stops at our front gate and the trip to town costs 40 cents one way. It takes you into the heart of La Ceiba with so many shopping spots I can't even guess at the amount. Restaurants, bars, dance bars, markets, parks, water parks and a railroad museum are just a few of the things available in town. A short trip East on the main highway takes you to the hot springs with 18 zip lines. In the same area is a working farm that has become a wildlife rehab/zoo that local injured animals are taken for care. Between our B&B and the zip line tour is the third rated river in the world for white water rafting. Depending on the time of the year it runs from class V down to class II and tours are available. One of the worlds best diving sites, Cayos Cochinos is accessed from Sambo creek by boat. We can provide you transportation at lower than taxi rates. To the West is a national park called Cuero Y Salado wildlife refuge. The animals available runs from manati, 180 species of birds, 2 types of monkey, bats, snakes and gators to name a few. The tallest mountain in Honduras, Pico Bonito is located in this area and on a clear day it's very impressive. It rises from sea level to over 7500 feet in just a couple of miles. These are naming just a few of the sites you can visit locally. When you come to Paradise 2 weeks would not be long enough to see what is on just the mainland.
