The awesome service was exemplified in the perpetual pleasant, smiling faces each day. The professionalism exudes excellent leadership and training when the staff consistently goes above and beyond the expected. Cudo's to Antwon, the bellman, that went out of his way to specifically show me directions. I also appreciate how Sarah, the housekeeping manager, found my ipad mini and had it shipped to my house. The high corner room was perfect to wind down at the end of the day!
Wonderful will definitely stay again
Loved the service and location! We enjoyed the pool and rooftop patio; very relaxing. Everything was very clean and inviting.
It would be nice to have the coffee maker in the room instead of having to go to the lobby. We did not realize we could request one, as there is no written information book in the room except for a menu. I prefer a book rather than find out the information on TV channel.
Excellent staff. Nice, well appointed rooms. Great location.
Had to pay for wifi.
Rooms were great and nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Free wine hour is awesome (they even have some finger-food) and the gym facilities and swimming pool were great. Location is also really convenient. Overall, great stay!
Not much I can think of that I didn't like. I guess it would have been nice to have a coffee maker already in the room. I think you can request one and they bring one -- but it was there already. Coffee was available in the lobby, which was so-so.
I have stayed at the Palomar many times. I like the location and have always like the rooms in the past. I like the bar and the restaurant. Rooms are comfortable.
This stay I was not given a king as requested but a queen room. I was staying for 5 days and was very disappointed as the room had less space to relax. The room was also in the corner between buildings and it got very little outside light. I can only conclude that the reason I was not given the room I requested and got such a poor room is because I made my reservation through Kayak. They also did not give me any reward points because I booked through Kayak. I was disappointed in the staff responses when I asked for a different room.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful
Without a doubt the polite and professional staff - from the luggage guy to the desk guys - are your greatest asset!
The Coffee in the bar was not that great - but then I come from the city that prides itself on its coffee.
I particularly liked the "living-room style lobby" with complimentary wine in the evening and free coffee/tea each morning.
everything was better than expected.
whirlpool tub in room
The price of the room
The room was attractive, clean, spacious and comfortable
Heard drum beat possibly from bar on rooftop when I was trying to go to sleep at 11:30 pm.
