Pros: I liked that the rental company is located in the airport itself, no need to take a shuttle to an offsite location.
Cons: The Dollar counter at the airport informed me that my reservation was for a Dollar location offsite and that reservation rate would not be honored at the airport. They advised me to take a cab to the offsite location, which we did. When we arrived, the offsite location was closed. We paid a $60 cab fee and were then stranded without a car. We contacted customer support and they said to take a cab back to the airport and refused to offer any compensation for the inconvenience. We ended up renting from National, which ended up being an excellent experience and at a lessor rate.

Cons: I searched your site for rentals from the airport - you directed me to a rental company 40-50 minutes off site - with NO shuttle - I lost 2 hours of my life scrambling to rent another car - which cost a hell of a lot more!
how do you expect people to pick up cars that are 50 minutes away from the airport?

Wouldn't honor reservation
Cons: I had a reservation for a 5 day rental. When I got to Dollar they told me it must have been a mistake. I had the confirmation email that listed all the details including the price which I showed them. They tried to charge me 3 times the price. Will never rent from them again. Ended up taking Uber which was much cheaper and better.

Cons: THEY CALLED ME 1 hour before my flight and told me they did not have any cats for that price. Which i think is very unprofessional, I am trevaling with 2 small kids, and for you to call and tell me no car are available that is just crazy to me never again will I book through kayak this should never happen, they also told me they would call back if anything came available do you think they call me back hell no! I was so disgusted with the service with both parties, how could you let this happen with people traveling far away from home! Never again.

Pros: Lorisa was the best! She was, by far, the best person we've ever dealt with when we've travelled. She was happy and very helpful! She should get a promotion or a raise- we would go back to that particular Dollar just because of her.

Terrible unfriendly experience
Cons: They first didn't have the car I had reserved, I waited 30 min for them to deliver the car to the branch I was at. After everything I was billed for the larger car I received that they told me would be a free upgrade since they were out of the size I booked.

Family trip to florida
Pros: The jeep was good fun and clean... Large enough for all of us.
Cons: The jeep didnt work well! Think lights randomly going on and off and automatic locks didnt work for the back seats. Hastle in the constant rainy weather.
Cons: The representative made absolutely no effort to provide descent customer service.

Pros: When I booked I inputed MCO for the airport instead it gave me a pickup location 15 miles away which I was not aware of until two days before arrival and the cost to change it to the airport was Triple the cost.

Misleading on Kayak website
Pros: Car, service, was fine, cost misleading.
Cons: Price went up $140 after booking as Rental was NOT AT AIRPORT. Would have had 30 minute taxi ride to get car I booked. I searched on Airport specifically.

Frustrating and disappointing
Cons: After entering search parameters for an airport pick-up and drop-off I was given a location 30 minutes from the airport. I had no idea it was not an airport location as it was presented as one. The actual airport location would not honor the price I had been quoted. Extremely frustrating.

Bait and switch
Pros: Did get a car after 4 hour wait.
Cons: Told reservation was with remote location and the airport location would not honor the reservation. $50 cab ride to location and they have no cars. The flow of passengers from the airport just kept arriving. No cars, 30 upset travelers and all the counter help would say is "call corporate". It was maddening that they kept sending customers to this location that had no cars. I was one of the few that got a car. Had to pay on "upgrade" and additional to return car at airport. No more Kayak redirect for me. I'll work with someone that backs what they provide.

Cons: There was no attendees at Thrifty desk at the airport. Paid for a taxi to go all the way downtown. It took an extra hour to get a car. Not a experience
Pros: Super nice employee and quick pick up. I even messed up my pickup date when I registered online, so when I showed up they weren't expecting me. The fixed my mistake and made it work, I was in and out in about 10 mins.

Hertz car rental hyundai
Pros: Nice clean car.
Customer service was good face to face.
Had complications during the rental with customer service over the phone but the employee was good to fix the situation 4 days later.
Cons: Bad customer service over the phone. Could not get ahold of the 1 rental guy that works there and I was 3 states away, which was explained 4 days later.
Had $900 in (pending) charges to my credit card for a $97 car rental which I couldn't ask about until after the weekend due to the rental office closed on the weekends and the main customer service also closed on the weekends.
Still gave a good review after a frustrating weekend.
