Pros: Everything was great. The car was clean and reliable. The staff were friendly and helpful! And the price was very reasonable! Overall impressed!

Cons: Hertz did not find my reservation. I had to pay $120 with Avis to find a car. Not sure what happened, but I'd like an explanation from Hertz + Kayak

Terrible customer service
Pros: Cheap, fuel efficient
Cons: Rude customer service agent at pick up. Kept asking to upsale me into an SUV when I clearly told him I was looking for fuel economy on this trip.
At drop off we arrived 3 minutes after close, but before the employee had left. I realized I was going to have to use the drop box and tried to ask him what I needed to do, but all he would say is that I had to pay an extra day and marched off. I had to call customer service to get the full details on what info they needed from me for the drop box. They weren't very helpful, but it got done. Now I'm stuck paying an extra day for a car I no longer have because I was 3-4 minutes late, despite Hertz website stating there is a 29 minute grace period for drop off.
Cons: I rented a car, reservation confirmed, only to have them tell me they could not rent to me when I showed up due to some obscure charge for $114 from 4 years ago. They could not tell me what the charge was, nor let me pay it to get the car. They said their accounting department had to fix it and that they were closed on the weekends (when they do their most business). They made me walk 4 blocks in the pouring rain with my luggage to Avis who did not have any cars to rent. I then had to Uber back to the airport, and pay 3x the original rate from Hertz. On top of all that, Enterprise still billed me for the car I never rented.

Pros: Good vehicle, worked properly and looked nice
Cons: The place where we were supposed to pick up our car closed 30 mins early. This forced us to go to another location - 20 mins away - to pick up the car and also pay AN ADDITIONAL $5 since it was from an airport. It was either pay the $5 or forfeit the rental.
The customer service rep even asked if I was sure if the place was closed. Yes, pitch black office with a locked gate.
