Cons: I reserved the car a week and a half in advance and I get there to find out they had no cars available only to get redirected 40 minutes away with 0 compensation. I finally get there and this one had one car available and not what I asked for after I already bought insurance on another car. I get ready to pay and they slap on 800 in hidden charges and fees. I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

Pros: Great car for the value
Cons: Customer service was poor. They charged me double without explanation. With much complaining they did correct it. Cancel my Gold not going with Hertz again

Cons: To avoid the ridiculous airport fees I had to pick up outside the airport.

Pros: The fuel economy and pickup of the Hyundai Sonata was excellent.
Cons: Hertz, as listed on your site as Nashville Airport, is actually outside the airport and is not the actual site at BNA which caused a cab ride to and Uber ride from, plus the additional time value. The 12volt outlets and USB outlet did not work, but they said, "the vehicle still runs". This was unacceptable and I ended up having to take a 4 door small sedan in lieu of a small SUV at the same price due to lack of product availability. Also, I reserved the vehicle through 1:30PM on Thursday, but that apparently did not matter as it had rolled over in a 24 hour increment from when I picked the vehicle up and was charged over $100.00 additional in rental, insurance charges and taxes due to this. I have been a loyal National and Avis renter for years, but due to their lack of availability and at the suggestion of a friend, I will most likely not use Hertz again. As an FYI, their staff had a hard time staying off their phones with texting and social media while trying to conduct business with myself and a few other customers on-site.

Pros: Getting rid of the car.
Cons: Office staff was dismissive and unhelpful. Had to wait a long time for the car and it was covered in dents and scratches that Inhad to hunt for and report - I felt like the manager just stood back and waited for me to miss one so I could be charged for it when I returned the vehicle - it made me uncomfortable to even drive off the lot. The car wreaked of smoke so badly it have he a headache. When I called to exchange the car the office staff said there were no cars and there was nothing they could do. I finally got assistance at the airport and received a cleaner car. I was unable to add my hertz gold number. Overall a very very poor experience.

Pickup took hours but worked out in the end
Pros: The staff worked very hard to find me a car after they had given mine away to another customer. Although the experience was long and frustrating, they did bend over backwards to eventually get me a vehicle.
Cons: My car had been given away to another customer because I was delayed getting into their location. There were no cars anywhere and ended up getting a car from another location an hour away.

Are you f#%*ing kidding me?
Cons: Confirmation email gave me the wrong address for the pick up location. The address I got didn't exist.
When I finally got to the right location, there was no rental car, not the compact I booked. They had one minivan for double the rate I originally booked at.
I waited in line, when it was my turn, the man behind the counter told me to wait longer and gave my place in line to a woman behind me for no apparent reason.

wrong pickup location, total mess
Cons: Reserved a car at the wrong location, airport location could only offer the daily rate, I went with another company. Hertz offered very little assistance. Agreed my mistake but geez. I had intended to get the airport location but kayak gave a location 15 mi. Away instead, got the city right however.

Cons: The location listed on kayak was not where the hertz location was. It was 3 miles down the street. When I arrived at 11 for my 11 pickup. No one was there. I had to wait until they came back from lunch. Clearly listed 11 am as a pick up time. Later that night, realized the headlights didn't work. I work 3rd shift. So.... I called and tried to return the car to another location because where I picked up was closed. The other location told me they didn't have an exchange car for me. Called the 24 hour customer service. They told me they would tow me back and forth that night to where ever I had to go but never showed up. Lost a day of pay because hertz said they wouldn't pay a ticket if I was pulled over for the light. Next day traded the car, the next car had working lights but 2 nails in the tire and I had to constantly add air. Couldn't return that car either. Couldn't drive the cars too much drama very inconvenient. Never offered a discount or an apology. Won't be going back here!
