You know you've made a mistake in choosing a hotel when you go to check in and you are directed by a handwritten sign to the 'night window'. Problems 1. Very old and outdated , see pictures 2. Not in the university place area 3. Unsafe area Pros 1. Large room 2. Refrigerator 3. Free WiFi Just not worth the risk and inconvenience.
They would not give me a room on the first floor. The staff member who helped me was rued. The bbreakfast was very poor, and the guy kept locking the door to the breakfast room.
This hotel was pretty nice, and a good deal for the cost. The bed was comfortable, the shower had excellent pressure, and the room was a good size. The staff were also very friendly. The only down side about this hotel was the location in a shady part of town.
To begin with, when we arrived, the man working the desk insisted that Travel online didn't actually charge my card, that they just hold it, and then the hotel charges the card. Hence, I was double charged for the room. And to top it off, the guy wouldn't even give me a total price for the room! The bathroom door in our room wouldn't close because the doorknob was ripped from the door- the bottom of the door was dented where someone had appearently kicked the door in. The room smelled ok, and was appearently clean. The bed was not uncomfortable. When I pulled back the coverlet on the bed, though, there was a hair on the sheets (used the other bed). We slept with a chair under ...
This hotel had a comfortable bed, microwave, refrigerator and a clean bathroom at an economical price. For the money, it is the best I have stayed, and I travel a lot!
We had reservations at a local Ramada Inn and, when we saw it, we refused to stay there. The Rodeway was right around the corner and we had a wonderful 5 night stay. It is an inexpensive motel but is a great value for the money. It has all you would expect from such a place. The staff is courteous and friendly and the rooms were very clean. We intend to go back to the same event next year and look forward to staying here again.
