The staff in the restaurant/ bar were very accommodating and kind, and fed me a delicious meal.
Multiple stains on room carpet. The shower curtain and window drapes had holes. In room fridge was about to tip out of the credenza. Included breakfast was Unappetizing. Save your money. Sleep in your car!
It was conveniently-located for our Fall road trip. Free onsite parking was well lighted at night.
We stayed here for our Spring road trip just four months prior to our recent Fall road trip. During our Spring road trip we encountered paved entrance/exit areas that were in disrepair. During our Fall trip they had not been repaired and there was no evidence that they would be any time soon. The facility boasts a Business Center, but during our Spring trip when we were in need of a letter-size mailing envelope (which many other motel/hotel chains provide for, along with stationary, in the rooms) the front desk refused to provide one, saying there wasn’t a plain envelope that they could provide or sell within the facility—a facility with a Business Center. When we booked the room both times (for our Spring and a Fall road trips), we advised that we would be traveling with our pet. During our Spring trip, having our pet with us was no problem; however, for our Fall trip we were told at check-in that our pet (a 6 year old 50 lbs Siberian husky that is travel-experienced and well behaved) was not welcome because the motel’s pet policy had changed. When we reminded the check-in clerk that we had stayed at the facility with our pet just four months earlier, like with our Spring trip had again registered our pet some 45 days earlier than the night of our stay, and had never received any notice from them of a change in its pet policy, we were met with no sympathy, empathy or concern. Our pet was simply not welcome, and we couldn’t stay there. Only after I asked to talk to the motel manager and asked her if they were refusing to honor a confirmed reservation were we able to use our confirmed reservation with them—but only if the pet fee/security charge were increased to $100 (from the standard $25) with $75 to refunded only after upon passing a physical room inspection at checkout. Frankly, we felt like we were being treated like criminals that had to put up bail money.
The front desk staff was a little on the not so friendly side the housekeeper was amazing even though she could not talk she was friendly, I checked out a day early due to extreme family emergency and was not offered a refund very unprofessional......my family are real big on breakfast and on previous stays we always loved the breakfast there but many items have been taken off the buffet which was off putting I stayed there often but I think I will be taking my business elsewhere the bathroom was filthy upon arrival paper and seals to bottles were left in corner of tub the tub was extremely Sandy ine the room under the desk was duct tape the night stand was sticky so I went to the store and bought disinfectant wipes and cleaned the room on top of everything else I took my grandsons swimming and a young couple were masterbating themselves in front of children Dale rectified the situation but still didn't make a difference they kept on doing it and waving at us......
Breakfast mediocre. Powdered eggs. The day I decided to order off menu there were no cooks that could handle it. Housekeeping staff was very friendly.
No Exhaust fan in bathroom. Had to have new keys made 9-10 times in a three day stay. Long walk to room (until i figured out the back doors). Pillows were for a first grader. Reception on tv was very poor.
