Pros:Professional staff. Was in my room resting within 5 minutes of arrival.

Cons:The room was in major dos repair. Mold in the bathtub and paint and skuff marks on the wall as well. The lamp shade was brittle and is falling a part. Internet was useless.

Pros:Cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful front desk staff--especially with regard to excellent dining options in Austin.
Cons:The only access to, and exit from, the hotel was a driveway directly to the I-35 frontage road going southbound. A little too much high-speed excitement for me! (And it really confuses the GPS.)

Pros:Our room had been freshly painted. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast consisted of waffles and pastries, but we like waffles, so we were good! Rates were reasonable.
Cons:The mattress has a plastic cover. Good for cleanliness concerns, but not for comfort!

Pros:Very cheap and basic but a comfortable clean place to stay. Good value, though room smelled a bit funny. Nice quiet place for a couple hours before heading into the city.
Cons:Very basic, neighborhood a bit sketchy, and breakfast was a joke.

Cons:Popcorn, bottle caps, trash in the room. The beds were like boards. Super hard. Condom packages all over the parking lot. Mary at the desk was rude and incompetent.

Pros:Rates were pretty cheap, staff was very nice.
Cons:Facility is old and not well kept up. Definitely in need of renovation. Area surrounding is not great, as an example, the parking lot is fenced in and there are security patrols at night time. In addition, the main lobby entrance is closed at night and a side one requiring card access is the only one open. Hallways had musty smell, rooms were slightly better. Bathrooms showed their age (peeling paint, gaps in the shower stall), though were generally clean. 1 of 3 bath towels was extremely dirty, like someone used it then put it back and it never got changed. Overall would only stay here in the future if budget was primary concern, otherwise would pay more to stay somewhere nicer.
