Location. Named after the Minaret Mountains, the Minaret Lodge in Wanaka, New Zealand, is located next to Lake Wanaka and within walking distance of the Wanaka Town Centre. The lodge sits on a two acre, park like setting with landscaped grounds and a backdrop of spectacular mountain scenery surrounded by oak, silver birch and larch trees. Hotel Features.
