Pros:Nice hotel. Clean room. Less expensive than many of the surrounding waterfront hotels. Helpful staff. Small refrigerator in the room. Decent speed in room Wi-Fi.
Cons:Workout room was very limited. Only two treadmills, and one was broken.

Cons:Was advertised as a supreme king suite. We opened the door on the 16th floor expecting a suite. A seperate seating area. Somewhere we could sit & look at the view of the harbour & Stanley park. Instead we found a king size bed, with 1 chair in the corner. A coffee maker with only plastic cups to drink our dark roast coffee,that once we added whitner it turned gray. The small tv on the wall was off to 1 side, leaving 1 person to sit on the bed ( which was quite comfortable) on an awkward angle. Overall it was a nice hotel that left a sour taste

Pros:I stayed at the Coast Coal Harbour in downtown Vancouver in mid December about two weeks before Christmas. Decided to head north for the holiday and go see Christmas lights somewhere cold (Butchart Gardens in Victoria was AMAZING, by the way). Vancouver was definitely in full swing for the holidays, but the city is pretty quiet and the crowds have dwindled by this time of year. Everything was fantastic. It's freezing, but I'm pretty sure the bedding was nice and warm, because I remember sleeping like a baby. The room was a decent size with good amenities, the bathroom was huge, and everything is "green" - recycling; economy sized bottles of shampoo, lotion, etc.; not unnecessarily washing towels that aren't really dirty... I'm from Los Angeles, so I hate to see water waste. You won't find any at this hotel :) Everything is walking distance - It's centrally located, about at 12 minute walk to the train that takes you to and from the airport, and only a block or two from the water. It rained (duh), so we took taxis a few times (at present, Uber doesn't operate in Van city), but if you have a hood and an umbrella, you shouldn't worry. The city is built for wet weather, and everything went along smoothly. The best part of the hotel was the staff. Can't remember the name of the guy at the front desk (Louis? Luis? I may have made that up.), but he had spot on recommendations for food and attractions. He recommended a great brunch spot called Medina and a fun Christmas Market (German style) with a photobooth, cider, mulled wine, and a lot of hand-made crafts. I had a great time in Vancouver and would definitely stay here again. Two very excited thumbs up! Note: We also took the Westcoast Sightseeing bus to Victoria. They pick up and drop off directly at the hotel, which is really great if you're planning on taking any side trips to Victoria.
Cons:I haven't got one, single complaint. I guess the views from some rooms aren't as great as others, but why gripe about the view when you can go out into the city and actually experience it.

Pros:The location is great, the way the staff treats you and the overall quality.
Cons:For the price we paid I would have expected a bigger room. Then I would have loved to have open view to the north harbour but a building was blocking partially our view, a little bummer although my wife loved it.

Cons:Baggage taken separately instead of in same elevator, and baggage gentlemen was very pushy as well as the valet attendant. Park elsewhere nearby for much cheaper.
