As the capital of Japan and the country's biggest city, it is no wonder that Tokyo is one of the leading sources of technological output on Earth. In this jam-packed city, there is no end to the number of super stores offering the latest gadgets, although the prices are through the roof! Still, there is much more to Tokyo than electronics. A revived youth scene has made for some excellent dance clubs around town, and the people, while perhaps a bit more reserved than their counterparts in the Western Hemisphere, are genuinely friendly and love visitors. With over twelve-million residents, Tokyo is crammed with people, and while the busy city streets are always bustling with pedestrian, vehicular, and even bicycle traffic, the city is remarkably clean and well-maintained.
