Pros:Covid protocols necessitated offering only a minimal number of grab and go breakfast items. Those items included breakfast bars, coffee, muffins, yogurt, apples and bananas, but hot tea was not an option. All bar and restaurant facilities were closed during our stay.
Cons:The room had play-doh smashed all over the carpet in our room. In addition the closet door was removed from the track and leaning against the wall when we first entered our room. Our travel partners also had the same issue with their closet door. In fairness, the bathroom appeared adequately cleaned and ready as did the bed.

Pros:The staff we interacted with were all great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Nice looking lobby bar with plenty of seating and the beds were comfortable.
Cons:The hot tub temperature in the pool area was too cold. More like luke warm tub.

Pros:We had very little interaction with the staff. We checked in and the gentleman was helpful and polite. When you got to our room the key did not work and there was an employee walking by that used a master key to open it for us. The floor was wet by the a/c unit and the remote batteries were old and the remote did not work properly. We told the man at the front desk upon check out and he made sure to write down what we had told him and he thanked us for the info.
Cons:Remote for tv didn't work properly and the floor was wet need the a/c.

Pros:Everything was very good for my young daughter and myself during check-in. The desk staff were very polite (and quite hilarious) and we were off to a great start. Room was comfortable and well furnished. We slept rather comfortably and were off early the next morning. 99% good with one moment of terribleness bringing down the review.
Cons:In their defense, I'm a tall person and I barely noticed it. There are 2 corner shelves in the shower and the upper one is pretty high. And that is where I saw the nasty, old, half bar of soap, complete with hair on it. Gross. Someone short wouldn't be able to see it and I get that. Can't clean what you don't see, and with everything else being in good order it was just a simple oversight. But YUCK. And the air conditioner sounded like an aircraft carrier. Whoa. Loud. Luckily it was a very mild night and it only kicked on a couple times.

Pros:The lobby, bar, sitting area, and room were very nice. The front desk staff was very helpful. We loved being able to check in prior to arrival as well. The kids loved the cookies! The location felt safe and was an easy drive to St Louis. Loved the zoo! We'd definitely stay again!
Cons:The only improvement we would've liked was a continental breakfast.
