Cons:
If you don’t mind being surprised with last minutes fees and charges, advantage rent a car is for you. I needed a 4 day rental for a drive to Denver, but since I lived in the same city as where I chose to rent the vehicle, I was only allowed150 miles, and everything over that would be charged 50 cents per mile unless I bought a mileage package. This place is a joke... I will only rent from hertz from here on out!!3.2 Poor

I had a guaranteed mid-size vehicle which I needed for extensive driving while in town. I arrived and only a minivan was available. After much arguing and waiting, and more waiting, a midsize came available. It smelled like smoke and had large burn holes on the seats and across the interior. not at all what I expected.Hertz

The quality of the vehicle could have been better. The oil light was on when we recieved the car, and needed changed. The brakes weren't 100% and were grinding a bit toward the end of our trip.6.0 Okay

We had a reservation, but they didn’t have a car for us. They only had more expensive options and wanted us to pay more to upgrade. We had to wait an hour for a car before they finally took us over to another location to get a car. They said they’d take us to the airport upon return but couldn’t.8.0 Very Good

Car was awesome...we got a double upgrade for free and the employees at the location where we picked up our car was great!Cons:
Everything went great with our rental until I had some questions about where to drop off. I called the rental center many times and nobody ever answered....it just rang forever. Fortunately we got it back without any problems but it would have been nice to have my questions answered ahead of time without wondering how it was going to go the morning of our flight!2.0 Poor
