Pros (+) Reasonably priced rooms in Pt. Angeles (less than $200) for four were hard to find the weekend we wanted. The Royal Victorian is a mom-n-pop property, originally from the golden days of road travel and the motor hotel. It is trying very hard to make a good comeback. The freshly painted exterior in yellow and purple with flower boxes is cheerful and welcoming. The super nice staff were a highlight....
Cons (-) As I said, the hotel is making a comeback. While the completed improvements and effort are obvious, there are still projects to be done, and fixtures and furniture to be replaced/updated to finish the refurb.
