Cigarette lighter did not work so could not use my own satnav and had to buy a map. As a rule, cars seem to be advertised as a focus / mondeo or similar and despite hiring lots of cars, I almost never receive the car that is advertised - I know the brief on this, but whole process seems a bit of a ruse. The Excess amount to be charged for a potential incident is excessive. Not very easy to see bumps / scuffs / chips etc on the car in the dark on pick-up or to be fair on drop-off.Budget

Near to my hotel, quite centralize. The car was clean and in good condition.Cons:
The drop-off point have very limited parking place and should have informed customer on any public holiday as we were not told about it. We have encountered some issues and could not find anyone to consult with despite paying so much money.10.0 Wonderful

Cons:
I had difficulty finding both the pickup location in St. Pancras, London and the dropoff location in Edinburgh. I had to walk around and ask in several buildings before I found the St. Pancras office. Then, when I used Bing to find the address of the Sixt office in Edinburgh, the first address than came up was incorrect. It was many miles from the correct location. The folks at another car rental office were good enough to direct me to the correct address.5.6 Fair

The check in was a bit long I booked a peugeot 308 automatic and I got a mini The guy at the agency presented it as an upgrade as my car wasn't available. I didn't know yet what I was getting into so I agreed. If I would have known how uncomfortable this car was I would have said no!!! I booked the 308 to have a spacious and comfortable car to do our tour of Scotland. The mini didn't match our expectations in comfort at all!!!! We had to have a break every hour because of the pain on our backs and legs!!!2.0 Poor

Check your car before you rent. Some hubcap scratches cost $100 because I didn't inspect before I rented. The employee was difficult, the location hard to reach, and they offered no assistance with finding my way in the city.8.4 Very Good

1. Didn't have the car I rented. 2. Put me in something that didn't have the necessary trunk space...option of upgrading at over double the price to get something that worked. 3. Flat tire after hitting major pothole...No spare. No replacement tire in Scotland. 4. Tow to Edinburgh airport, replaced car to mid-size SUV with run-flat tires...3 times original price.7.2 Good
