It's a stunning Georgian style building . The mansion took its name from an earlier resident, the Sicilian Duke of Cannizaro and his Scottish wife. They lived here from 1817 until 1841, when they died within a few months of one another. Proudly situated on the edge of Wimbledon Common , within a beautiful landscaped park which is directly accessible from the rear of the hotel. Wimbledon village is only a few minutes walk away with its wonderful boutique shops, restaurants and trendy bars. Wimbledon underground and train station is only a 20 minute walk away or you can take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service provided by the hotel.
