Pros:

After a 45 min wait in line because know one was at the Alamo counter the ladies got us out fast at enterprise when we finally got to them. The drop off was super fast and smooth.

Cons:

On pick up, they gave us a choice of 3 mustang convertibles “upgrade” because our 4 door std was gone . The agent tried blowing smoke up our butts. Traded it in next day. Drop of was easy but agent was unable to print a receipt . Said they would email it. Haven’t seen it yet so don’t know if charges were correct. Not impressed.

I would not rent from hertz in this airport. For the most part ( one young man was helpful ) staff was at best indifferent. The time it took standing in line and paperwork was ridiculous.One poor man at the pickup was trying to deal with a roomful of people who had been given the wrong type of vehicle. It took forever to pick up a car . The car was excellent and drop off was a dream but I will be looking at a different car rental

We had a long wait to pick up our car at the airport in Nashville. They only had 1 guy working the desk for 3 desks/different car rental places. The guy really tried to up sell us on our car and when we would ask how much he would say "oh it's cheap" was very vague. Then when we got the bill it was $200 more than we agreed to (in American and we are from Canada so the conversion was awful) The car itself was good, clean, good on gas

Pros:

The staff that checked me in was extremely quick, friendly and efficient. He was by himself and got everyone through quickly, all while maintaining a welcoming and friendly attitude. A+ team member!

Cons:

Cleanliness of vehicle was lacking. Car was still dirty on the interior and smelled. Car alignment was way off too.

1. The line to redeem my rental voucher at the rental car desk was sooooo long. There was only 1 person working it, which later became 2. But the line was 30 people. None of the other rental companies had a long line. Just this one. 2. The license plate tag was ripped. 3. Overall it just felt like there was not enough attention paid to the customer experience. Lots of attention to keeping it a lean cost center... but def understaffed.

It took four cars until we could find one that wasn’t broken down flat tire wrong number broken lights so on. Worst car rental ever.

It took so long waiting in line to get to the counter. I had to reschedule the plans that I made for my brothers bachelor party. It ruined the whole day. I waited for an hour and a half just to be able to get to the line to rent the car. Maybe there are more people needed at the front desk during times of high demand. The car was nice. It wasn’t super clean. The windows were dirty and it smelled like someone had smoked in it before. Other than that it was a good experience.

The pickup was a pain. There were no signs telling me where to find the Payless counter. The car shakes at highway speeds (I assume wheel balancing is needed) and 2 of the tires were at 22 PSI, SO I had to put air in them once I got it

Cons:

There was really poor signage in ATL and we ended up having to hunt someone down and drive to a garage that was not labeled Payless. It cost us a lot of time and energy
