Fantastic location if traveling out of DFW, as long as you don't want to get any sleep. The property is located directly below a flight path. Aircraft are maybe at 1000ft altitude when they pass over. DFW is a nearly 24/7 operation meaning very loud aircraft are flying over all night long! The sound insulation in the hotel is just not good enough for the proximity to the airport. The facility itself, the room, and the common areas that I saw were very clean. Updated decor. Breakfast was as you expect from IHG, and they had plenty of everything.
Pros:Location
Cons:Customer Service (of any kind), they were focused on themselves only. No bugs in the room/bed!!!!! Signage that was accurate and beneficial.
Pros:Location was easy to get to and from the airport.
Cons:Hotel was a little older. Little things ike towel holder in the bathroom was not available. Overall just an ok hotel.
Pros:The location was right in between a few of the places we planned to visit which made travelling easy. We have small children, and they enjoyed watching the big airliners fly overhead. The pool was nice and a relaxing way to cool off after a hot day of seeing the area attractions.
Cons:We booked a king suite with sofa bed, but no sheet was provided for the sofa bed. The second night we stayed was going along fine until we turned in on for bed and found bugs everywhere on the bedding, nightstands, and sofa bed...they were small flying bugs twice the size of a gnat. We never opened any Windows so I don't know where they came from. We booked our room for a good deal only to find out after we stayed that we were charges an additional $70 by the hotel for some misunderstanding regarding to the number of guests we had...essentially our toddler and preschooler were somehow considered to be two extra adults so the charges were added.
Pros:I LOVED THE BREAKFAST AS ALWAYS. VERY CHILD FRIENDLY. WIFI CONNECTION WAS VERY STRONG. I WILL ALWAYS STAY HERE WHEN VISITING DALLAS!
Pros:I've never had such an amazing experience with ALL of hotel employees except at this location! Brande and Britane especially were two amazing individuals who helped me and my son get checked in and walk us through to local spots to grab a late night dinner. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. It was super clean and just overall friendly. Wish there was an indoor pool but can't have it all! Again, Britane and Brandi made my night worth the drive up there. They were so awesome!
Pros:I left my asthma inhaler in my room, bed to be exact. I called spoke to Janice she said no one found it. As I was trying to arrange a refill & find a pharmacy I got a call from Janice she had my inhaler. I was thrilled she was so helpful!!!
Cons:Be aware.. There is free shuttle to the airport but NO free parking at the hotel. The shuttle service experience was bad.. Does not run often.. On our way back.. It took us 1:30 min of waiting at the airport..!
Pros:The room was super clean and very spacious. It was also very quiet despite facing a major interstate.
