Cons:
We rented from Avis on 3 different occasions in Sputh Africa. Each time they are very lax pn checking the car when upu leave and will not mark diwn any problems, however when upu reyurn the car they go over it with a fine tooth comb. They will not close out the contract either, just give upu a return receipt. The only place theu were nice eas picking up.the car in Cape Town.6.0 Okay

The rental agent and the manager would not fulfill the already paid rental car contract because the credit card we used to make the reservation was not imprintable. We were asked to show the card we had made the reservation with to charge a deposit for incidentals. They looked at the card, a Chase Visa, and said because it would not imprint with a decades old credit card imprinter we could not have the car. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card and as I said will not rent from this company ever again.5.2 Fair
