That said, having a car makes you more independent and less bound by the timetables of buses, the metro or trains. At Hongqiao, there is a Hertz counter at Terminal 1, but no other companies work out of this airport. Cons:
Although i booked the car for 6:00 am i was able to get a car at 9:00 am. No English spoken at the office, very difficult to communicate. The car I got had a non-Shanghai license plate which has limited access to the city. I asked to change to Shanghai license plate and had to pay extra's, whilst nothing was mentioned during the booking.2.0 Poor
