The city of Lund is for bicycles and pedestrians so I would park my car in the parking garage by the railway station and enjoy the beautiful center of the historic town by foot.

Having your own vehicle is the easiest way to explore the area around Lund. In the city itself, the narrow roads can be a challenge, but parking is plentiful. While Sweden has good public transport, having your own vehicle will let you travel on your own schedule, and you can visit more remote locations. For example, a drive up to the beautiful coastal town of Lerhman takes just over an hour by car and almost twice as long by bus.
