Pros:it was ok, it would be great if there was a more expedited way to return the vehicle.Cons:The car I received was pretty basic, not what I usually get in the same categories from other companies. The vehicle had over 25k miles o it and the tires were worn making it unsafe to travel in the snow with.Reviewed 12 Nov 2019

Wouldn’t rent me a carPros:The lady who unfortunately had to denie us our rental.Cons:The whole process. The credit check with no actual criteria as to why you’re denied. The credit card I was suppose to use didn’t come in as expected. I planned to use my debit card. Had plenty of money for any holds they may have needed. Nope now they do a soft credit check and cannot tell why you were denied. I have decent credit. Never have a problem getting approved. Unless I want to rent a car. This was never explained so I was without a car and had to use my personal vehicle since it was a Saturday. Will never use budget again. Disappointed that kayak wouldn’t better protect their customer either.Reviewed 24 Sep 2018

Switching to EnterpriseCons:12:30 AM at DTW - waiting in line for 45 minutes to get a car. Only one person working behind the counter. Two other people (including a manager) did not have a willingness to help move along the line. When I said it seemed unreasonable for a Fastbreak customer to wait 45 minutes in line - the employee simply stated there is nothing he could do about it. Poorly trained customer service and an unwillingness to make any difference in the situation. This person was not trained well and I believe it is a culture at Budget. I would use Budget because of a price point advantage - it's no longer worth it to me.Reviewed 17 Apr 2017

Office a bit hard to findPros:But the attendant was bright cheerful and efficient. the parking area to retrieve the rental was not well marked and as it was a dark parking ramp hard to see if the car had any defects. Just really thankful there was a rental in Battle Creek!Reviewed 13 Oct 2016
