We are located at 46 Makenzijeva Street , in the heart of Belgrade , just 15 minutes from Republic Square and 5 minutes from Slavija Square. Our hostel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants,clubs,pubs,cafes,shops,but you can also find exchange offices,banks,pharmacy , Cathedral of Saint Sava , Kalenic -famous open-air market , fast food restaurants(Mc Donald's) within a short walk distance. Our staff will do all they can to make you feel at home at Cricket Hostel,and help you find your way around : we recommend things to do ,places where you can eat,various sightseeing programs,bars ,clubs,parties,restaurants(we can even make a reservation for you!) and many more! We offer one 8-bedded room, two 4-bedded rooms and one 2-bedded room. Cleanliness is a thing we care about a lot . All our rooms are nicely furnished with comfortable beds and other equipment. Fully equipped kitchen is waithing for you to make your own home –cooked meals. If you feel like escaping the busy city life you can relax in one of three beautiful balconies. There is also a large common room with TV,fast internet access,an extensive DVD selection,small library and brochures to help you plan your journey through Belgrade. Location From our hostel you can easily reach the most popular sightseeing in Belgrade on foot. Cricket hostel is located in the heart of Belgrade ,in the municipality of Vracar, 46 Makenzijeva Street,4th floor , apartment 12. You will not go away dissapointed! By tram: When you exit the train station or Main bus station you will see a tram stop which is situated in front of the station.Take a tram number 9 or 12 direction Slavija Square for 1 stop. Buy tram tickets at news-agent’s ,the price is about 40 dinars (about 0.5 euro). Exit the tram at the first stop,continue to walk in the same direction (you will see the Slavija Hotel in the centre of the square)for approximately 100 meters , then turn right to Makenzijeva Street.We are at number 46(on the right side of the street). On foot : Those who prefer to walk from station to our hostel won't need more than 10 minutes. Cross the tram tracks outside the train station and walk straight up Nemanjina street in front of you and you will find yourself on Slavija Square .You will see big Slavija Hotel in the centre of the square. Makenzijeva Street is located at the hotel’s left side.Go straight up and after 100 meters you will find Cricket Hostel ,46 Makenzijeva Street,4th floor,apartment 12. By plane: If you arrive by plane and land on the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport,you are about 20 km from the centre of Belgrade.If you like you can take inexpensive JAT airlines bus which takes you to the Slavija square.Bus leaves every hour outside the airport terminal and tickets can be bought from the bus driver.It costs about 2 euros.It will take around 30 minutes to get to the Slavija Square(in front of Slavija Hotel). Makenzijeva Street is located at the left side of Slavija Hotel’s main entrance .You will find us at number 46,4th floor ,apartment 12. If you decide to take a taxi directly from the airport expect to pay about 15 euros,make sure to ask the taxi driver for the price up front or offer 15 euros. If the price is more than 20 euros you are paying too much.If you have any problems call our mobile number.
