I called and confirmed that there would be a car for me. Keisha said yes there was a Nissan SUV for me, so I rode to the airport to pick it up. When I got there, the people at the counter said there was not a car for me.l and that they do not take same day reservations. I told them I spoke to Keisha and she said there was a car here for me. They said “customer service doesn’t know what inventory we have. We don’t have any cars, and no one else does.” Why would Alamo let me make a reservation if they didn’t have any cars or accept same day reservations? So frustrating. Location at Milan train station was NOT UPDATED; VERY HARD TO FIND. As well as dropoff at Bologna airport. Dropoff location was NOT CLEARLY MARKED! I was charged again for insurance by affiliate Italian company!Reviewed 26 May 2024

Rental company should provide equivalent car as per agreement. Car given to me was smaller Hundai I10, whereas we book bigger car. Car was new but it's fuel gauge was not correctly showing the fuel level in the tank.Reviewed 26 May 2024

The employees were helpful, however. the quality of the vehicle was "bad". After driving for 150 kilometers in Chile, the car started to have motor noises. The next day I took the car to an agent at my destination city (Talca). They did not explain the noises and I received a new vehicle. This vehicle did not have any problems. When I return the vehicle at the airport, I was charged for a crack in the windshield. Alamo employee informed me that after a phone call to the alamo agent in Talca, He was informed that no crack was on the windshield when I received the vehicle in Talca. I did not inspect the second vehicle, I cannot confirm the statement from Alamo in Talca, however, when I originally picked up the vehicle at the airport, I was informed that the vehicle was in "excellent" condition. This was not true. How do I know the condition of the second car, after the "excellent" previous condition.Reviewed 25 May 2024

The problem with the rental was that the price that we were supposed to pay almost doubled from what we originally agreed upon with kayak. They somehow drew up two different contracts. They showed us what we were going to be charged, but then they used another contract to actually charge us a way different amount. We are going to dispute this charge with our credit card company to try to recover our losses.Reviewed 24 May 2024
